Who is eligible for earnings support for illness?
To be eligible for earnings support for sickness, you must have completed at least 30 deliveries for Deliveroo during the 8 weeks before the sickness.
If your claim is approved, the benefit is 75% of your average daily earnings, up to £50 per day, for up to 30 days. Average daily earnings are based on your Deliveroo earnings in the 60 days before the sickness.
A 7-day waiting period applies. If you are temporarily unable to work because of sickness for more than 7 consecutive days, the benefit is payable from the first day of temporary ill-health. No payment is made if the sickness lasts less than 7 days.
You can claim earnings support for sickness up to a maximum of two times in any 12-month period.
Sickness cover does not apply to substitute riders.
