How do I claim the one-off new parent payment?
For new parent claims, this insurance is underwritten by American International Group UK Limited, also known as AIG, and administered by Beloy SAS.

You may be asked to provide documents to support your claim, such as:
- a birth certificate, adoption order or certificate, or stillbirth registration
- a Mat B1 form or official medical proof of pregnancy
- if you are the father of the child, evidence that your partner lives at the same address as you
- for childbirth, stillbirth or adoption outside the UK, additional official documents may be required
New parent claims must be notified within 90 days after childbirth, stillbirth or adoption.
When submitting your claim, make sure the information you provide is accurate and complete. Providing incorrect information may delay your claim or mean your claim is rejected.
