Riders can choose which vehicle to use to make deliveries. Under your Supplier Agreement, you just need to let us know which vehicle you're using, and tell us before you or your substitute use a different type of vehicle. If we notice delivery speeds that are unusually high for the vehicle registered on an account, we'll get in touch to check which vehicle is being used. This helps us keep vehicle information accurate and make sure riders are offered the right orders.
In the UK and Ireland, e-bikes cannot legally provide electric power above 15.5mph (25 km/h). Modifying an e-bike to exceed the legal speed limit of 15.5mph (25 km/h) makes it illegal to use on public roads and cycle lanes.
You can use any approved vehicle type to ride with Deliveroo, including a bicycle, e-bike, scooter or car. If you start using a different vehicle, it's important to update your vehicle details before making deliveries.
