These Rider Card Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe the rules, restrictions, and obligations that govern your use of the prepaid electronic card (“Rider Card”) provided by Roofoods Ltd (“Deliveroo”). These Terms apply to you whether you are the Rider who is party to a supplier agreement with Deliveroo (“Supplier Agreement”), or a registered substitute authorised to perform services under a Rider's Supplier Agreement and have a Rider Card issued to you in your own right. By requesting or using a Rider Card, you are agreeing to these Terms. These Terms supplement but do not supersede a Rider’s Supplier Agreement.
You further agree to comply with the Stripe Issuing Accountholder Terms (“Stripe Terms of Service”) and the Stripe Issuing Program Guidelines (as defined in the Stripe Terms of Service). You understand that these services are subject to the terms and conditions of each such third-party provider. You agree that Deliveroo is not responsible and may not be held liable for these services or the actions or omissions of any third-party provider.
The Rider Card is a prepaid card that Riders, or their Substitute use to pay for items at select merchants. The Rider Card will automatically be funded at check out. Rider Cards are not linked to your bank accounts or related to earnings. Rider Cards are provided digitally.

Rider Card Description
The Rider Card is a prepaid, order-restricted payment instrument intended solely for completing eligible Customer Orders. Deliveroo pre-authorizes funds for specific orders; no stored balance is available for your general use.
Each Rider and each registered Substitute is issued their own personal Rider Card, linked to their own individual wallet within the app. There is only one Rider Card per wallet and it must be activated if you wish to be offered orders that require payment.
The Rider Card:
- is not a credit card,
- is not a debit card owned by you,
- cannot be used for personal purchases,
- cannot be used outside of Customer Orders, and
- is not a source of wages, earnings, or reimbursement.
Restrictions on Rider Card
The Rider Card may be used solely for pre-approved purchasing of eligible items to be delivered to customers while performing services on the Deliveroo Platform. It is personal to you and may not be shared with any other third party, including any other individuals.
There may be certain products and services that you cannot use the Rider Card for. You cannot use the Rider Card to withdraw cash or to make any other purchases for you or for items not pre-approved by customers.
You must not conduct or deal with a Prohibited or Restricted Business (as defined in the Stripe Terms of Service).
