Summer of Football Rider Competitions

These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the Summer of Football Rider Competitions (the “Campaign”). By participating in the Campaign, each entrant agrees to these Rules.

1. Promoter

The Promoter is Roofoods Ltd ("Deliveroo"), a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 08167130. Our registered address is The River Building, Level 1 Cannon Bridge House, London EC4R 3TE.

2. Campaign Period

The Campaign runs from 11 June 2026 to 19 July 2026 inclusive (the “Campaign Period”).

Certain competitions, incentives or prize draws within the Campaign may operate during specific match windows or weekly promotional periods within the Campaign Period. Details of these will be communicated in-app, by email, or via push notification.

3. Eligibility

The Campaign is open to Deliveroo riders in the UK who:

  • Are main account holders;
  • Have completed at least one (1) delivery in the 3 weeks prior to the relevant competition period;
  • Have received a direct invitation or in-app notification to participate; and
  • Have a valid email address linked to their rider account
    (the “Eligible Riders”).

Participation in certain mechanics (e.g. team loyalty missions or score prediction) may require in-app opt-in.

Only Eligible Riders who meet the qualifying criteria for a specific competition mechanic will be entered into the relevant prize draw.

Deliveroo reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any rider who breaches these Rules or engages in fraudulent, dishonest or manipulative behaviour (including, but not limited to, artificially inflating order volumes or breaching rider agreement terms).

4. How to Participate

During the Campaign Period, Eligible Riders may be invited to participate in competitions including (but not limited to):

  • Completing a specified number of deliveries during defined match windows;
  • Completing deliveries during national team match windows;
  • Participating in cumulative delivery challenges;
  • Opting in to and completing team-based missions;
  • Submitting match score predictions within the Rider app; and/or
  • Completing defined streak or Super Peak delivery thresholds.

Each mechanic will specify:

  • The qualifying criteria (e.g. number of deliveries required);
  • The relevant time window (e.g. kick-off time plus 2.5 hours);
  • The reward structure (e.g. bonus entries, prize draw entry, guaranteed small prize); and
  • Any additional eligibility conditions.

Where entry into a prize draw is awarded, entries will be allocated according to the mechanic rules communicated in-app.

No purchase is necessary. Deliveries must be genuine, completed orders in accordance with the Deliveroo Supplier Agreement.

5. Prizes

Prizes available during the Campaign may include (depending on the mechanic and market activation):

  • Deliveroo credit;
  • Gift vouchers: ROOquiz rewards: £500 total
    1st place: £150 Amazon voucher
    2nd place: £100 Amazon voucher
    3rd place: £80 Amazon voucher
    4th-5th place: £60 Amazon voucher
    6th place: £50 Amazon voucher
    Rep Your Team competition: £300
    6 winners: £50 Deliveroo vouchers each/Rider kit for selected competition winners.;
  • Merchandise bundles;
  • Bike service vouchers;
  • Other promotional rewards communicated in-app.

The exact number and type of prizes will be specified in the relevant in-app communication.

Where a prize draw applies:

  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a verifiable random selection process.
  • Winners will be notified by email and/or in-app message.
  • If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification (or such other deadline specified), Deliveroo reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternative winner.

If a prize requires additional information (e.g. address, guest details, ID verification), this must be provided within the timeframe stated in the notification.

6. Reward Payments & Incentives

Where a mechanic offers a guaranteed delivery reward (e.g. “Complete 5 deliveries during a match window and earn £X”):

  • The reward will be paid directly into the rider’s Deliveroo account;
  • The reward amount and qualifying criteria will be clearly shown in-app;
  • Rewards are only payable once the stated criteria are fully met.

Deliveroo does not guarantee any minimum level of order volume or earnings during the Campaign Period. Order volume may vary by city, time, team participation, weather, and other factors.

7. Prize Conditions

  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available unless expressly stated.
  • Deliveroo reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
  • Where a prize involves travel or event attendance, additional terms may apply and will be communicated to the winner.
  • Guests attending any event-based prize must comply with venue rules and any applicable FIFA or event organiser requirements.

8. Image Licence

The Rider grants to Deliveroo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and publish photographs, video recordings, and other depictions of the Rider's image and likeness ("Rider Content") in connection with the Rider's engagement in the Campaign, for any purpose on Deliveroo's social media channels and related digital platforms.

9. Disqualification

Deliveroo reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Breaches these Rules;
  • Breaches their Deliveroo Supplier Agreement;
  • Manipulates or attempts to manipulate the entry process;
  • Engages in conduct that Deliveroo reasonably considers fraudulent, abusive or contrary to the spirit of the Campaign.

Deliveroo’s decision regarding eligibility and qualification is final.

10. Cancellation or Amendment

Deliveroo reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Campaign or these Rules where necessary due to:

  • Operational requirements;
  • Legal or regulatory reasons;
  • Events outside Deliveroo’s reasonable control; or
  • Technical failures.

Any material changes will be communicated via the Rider app or email.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deliveroo shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss;
  • Loss of profits or anticipated earnings;
  • Technical failures affecting entry;
  • Events outside Deliveroo’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Rules excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

12. Data Protection

Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Deliveroo Rider Privacy Policy available at:

Data will be used for the purposes of administering the Campaign and contacting winners.

13. Governing Law

These Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
